RANGE OF FEATURES
We specialise in Level 5 finish — the highest standard — required for walls and ceilings that will receive paint, wallpaper or other thin decorative finishes in premium commercial environments.
Our teams are experienced in boarding and jointing large commercial floor plates efficiently, using rapid-dry and setting compounds to maintain programme momentum.
All external corners and window/door reveals are finished with metal and plastic beads, set and feathered to provide crisp, durable edges throughout.
We coordinate directly with painting and decorating contractors to ensure our finish meets the specification required and to agree sanding and preparation standards before decoration begins.

We use rapid-dry and setting compounds to maintain programme momentum on fast-track commercial fit-outs.
Level 5 is the highest plasterboard finish standard, involving a skim coat applied over the full board surface to eliminate any surface irregularities before decoration. It is required for walls and ceilings that will receive gloss or satin paint, wallpaper or other thin decorative finishes in premium commercial, hospitality and high-end residential environments. SFDC specialises in Level 5 finish, coordinating directly with painting and decorating contractors to agree finish specifications and achieve first-time acceptance on every area.
WE ENSURE QUALITY
Our supervisors carry out pre-decoration snagging inspections on all tape and jointing works, ensuring that the finish standard delivered meets the specification before we hand areas over to the decorating trade. We aim to minimise punch list items and ensure first-time acceptance.
SFDC tape and jointing works are carried out in accordance with BS EN 13963 (jointing materials for gypsum boards) and the relevant ASTM Level 5 finish specification. All materials are sourced from approved manufacturers and applied in accordance with published product data sheets.
