From design and product selection through to supply and installation, SFDC can manage the complete façade package. By working closely with leading UK manufacturers, we can offer a choice of tested systems and provide practical, cost-effective solutions without compromising the design or performance requirements of the project. We engage from RIBA Stage 2 onwards, providing value engineering input, buildability reviews and technical submittals to support programme and cost certainty.
All facade systems installed by SFDC are fully compliant with Building Regulations Approved Document B. We only specify and install non-combustible or appropriately fire-classified cladding and facade products — A1, A2-s1,d0 or B-s1,d0 as required — and maintain full BS 8414 test evidence and golden thread documentation for every project. This commitment to compliance gives building owners, principal designers and Building Control complete confidence in the safety and performance of our facade installations.
WE ENSURE QUALITY
Our dedicated facade project managers oversee every installation from the initial site setup and material deliveries through to watertight sign-off. We operate strict quality gates at each stage of the process to ensure every panel, joint and fixing meets specification.
SFDC facade installations comply fully with Building Regulations Approved Document B and Approved Document L. All systems carry appropriate fire classification (A1, A2 or B) and are installed by trained, competent operatives holding current CSCS cards and relevant NVQ qualifications.
