SFDC undertakes complete re-cladding projects, including the removal of existing systems and the design, supply and installation of the new cladding system. Working with leading manufacturers gives us access to a wide range of tested systems, including A1 non-combustible metal cladding solutions, allowing us to select a system that meets the project's performance, design and budget requirements. Our re-cladding service restores the appearance, weathertightness and compliance of existing buildings with minimal disruption to occupants.
Whether it's new cladding, re-cladding, over cladding or refurbishment, SFDC provides a complete service from initial design and system selection through to supply and installation. Every cladding package is specified and installed to meet the fire safety requirements of Building Regulations Approved Document B, with appropriate A1, A2-s1,d0 or B-s1,d0 fire classification and full BS 8414 test evidence maintained for the building safety case file.
WE ENSURE QUALITY
Our cladding project managers maintain detailed installation records and photographic evidence at every stage of the cladding installation. This golden thread of information is compiled into a comprehensive handover pack for the building owner and principal designer, supporting ongoing building safety compliance.
SFDC cladding works fully comply with Building Regulations Approved Document B, BS 8414 fire test requirements, and the Building Safety Act 2022. All products are specified with appropriate fire classification (A1, A2-s1,d0 or B-s1,d0 as required) and installed by competent operatives.
